Merry Xmas from Germany

Weihnachts Markt, Munich

Salzburg, Austria

Merry Christmas!!

I know I have been MIA for quite some time now. I try to avoid the computer as much as I can so I can take advantage of this amazing place. Here is a little insight of what I've been up to. I was in Munich for a few days and loved it, then we took a day trip to Salzburg, Austria and amazed at how beautiful this city is. No I am in Witzenhausen- a small town in the middle of Germany, where my boyfriends family is from, they cutest little town. As soon as I get home I will definitely post more photos. They wont be any style shots because all I was thinking about was making sure I stay warm and dry.
Hope everyone had a wonderful XMAS!!!

All photos taken by me or my boyfriend

Xmas Shopping

One day I hope to own  the 2.55

Jacket-Marshalls; Sweater-Calvin Klein; Jeans-True Religion; Boots-DTLA; Snood and accessories-Forever 21

Saturday I was on my own to go xmas shopping and maybe get some gifts for myself on the way.  Xmas is my favorite time of year, the city looks amazing with all the decorations, lights, ice skating rink in the middle of Union Square and the Xmas spirit that people seem to have. Even though it was pretty cold, the cafes and streets of SF were packed with people. Since I was by myself I couldn't really take any style pictures, although while in the dressing room of H&M, I decided to take some quick ones of what I wore that day. I love this green military jacket and you will never guess where I bought it.. Marshalls!!! It goes with everything and can also wear it in the summer because it is a light jacket. Don't be surprised if you see me wearing it a lot. I found out that we will be going somewhere really nice for NY in Germany, so right away I thought that I must wear something sparkly. I didn't have much success this weekend but still have a week and half to find the perfect outfit!! Have you picked our your New Years Eve Outfit?

Studs

Shorts & Boots-Forever 21; Sweater-Abercrombie; Shirt-H&M; Coat-Zara; Purse-Downtown LA

The nights are starting to get colder so its time to bring out the coats and boots. Although thinking about it, I've had them out all year. That is one thing I do not like about SF, it is always cold no matter what day of the year it is. Coming from LA this is not good, we need our sun constantly. Friday night was our date night, we went to North Beach (Little Italy), had dinner and then to a bar. During the week for work, Im always wearing jeans and tshirt, so on weekends I try to dress up even if we just take a walk around town. I decided to wear tights with shorts and a cashmere sweater to keep warm through the night, paired with my studded boots and purse which gave my outfit more character, (I love studs or anything that blings)!I added this coat purchased from Zara last year and it completed my look.

Xmas in Germany

Munich, Germany

Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria, Germany (Inspiration for the Cinderella's Castle)

I am very excited to say that in 2 weeks from tomorrow I will be flying to Germany to spend the Holidays with my boyfriends family and friends. This will be my first time spending xmas away from home so it will be a little sad to not see my family this year. I have been doing lots of shopping just for this trip because I don’t think I have ever experienced weather like this before, (it is 14 degrees in Germany right now, brrrr). Being and California girl I don’t think I have ever seen the temperature drop below 30, and that is really cold for me. My boyfriend has been telling me about these xmas markets they have, where you can buy lots of traditional xmas merchandise, lots of food and warm wine. Aside from it being 13 degrees, I am very excited have my first white xmas and to hopefully build my first snowman.  Here are some pictures to give you a taste of what I will be seeing and doing in Germany.
